Meet the Team

Arun holds a Doctorate in Psychology (specialising in Education) from the Tavistock Clinic, London, and an Executive MBA from the Cranfield School of Management. He is a fully Chartered Member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and member of the UK Business Angels Association (UKBAA). In his day-to-day work, Arun, supported by his team, manages a small global client list of UHNW families who seek advice on all Educational matters for their children, he consults for Venture Capital Firms and Private Equity Groups in relation to product/market in the Education Sector, and consults for a vast array of Public and Private sector Education bodies, including the DfE and Ofsted. Arun is proud to have worked directly with several international jurisdictions in advising on their role out of Remote Learning programmes and the practical execution of Educational Policy matters in relation to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Still practising as a leading senior psychologist, Arun is highly sought after by Local Authorities nationwide, International Educational institutions, and leading top-tier law firms (as ranked in the elite Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners) for his advice. This is especially in relation to highly contentious and complex cases as an Expert Witness, where he has been involved in cases at all levels of the court, including the Supreme Court.

Other current ventures and aspirations for Arun, include investing via sister company, Progreso Investments, in Early Year/Pre School acquisition and in young start-up companies in the Ed Tech and Education Software as a Service (SaaS) sectors, where in addition to seed capital, he adds value in sales, product/market consultancy, team building and further capital raising.

In his spare time, Arun enjoys film, theatre, playing squash and finding prohibition style speakeasy bars.

Allanah gained a first-class degree in Applied Psychology at the University of Kent. As part of her course, she completed a placement year at a silver award trauma-informed school, working with children with a range of social, emotional and learning difficulties.

After finishing her degree, she took on a permanent position where she continued to work closely with children on the SEND register. Through this work, she further developed her patient and flexible approach.

Allanah has a love for animals, which she finds helps her to relate to a wide variety of young people. She has previously shared this love for animals by taking her guinea pigs into her work environment to conduct a ‘Pets as Therapy’ session, as well as through regularly supporting sessions with the therapy dogs.

In her free time, Allanah enjoys trying new foods, listening to music and playing games online with friends.

Kate holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Bristol, and furthered her studies by completing a Master’s degree in Developmental Psychopathology from Durham University. Alongside this, she has volunteered for her university Nightline service, housebuilding in Vietnam, and is currently training to become a mentor to support children with SEN. Kate attended school in the Middle East, namely Oman and Dubai. The experience of being surrounded by different cultures and their varied customs made her strongly value inclusivity, diversity, and multicultural environments. Moreover, she understands the differing cross-cultural perspectives of SEN and the stigma frequently associated with the diagnosis of developmental disorders; this drives her passion to improve SEN resources internationally, and the importance of maintaining and improving inclusivity in learning spaces across the UK.

In her free time, Kate reads about LGBTQ+, race, and gender inequalities, and this has resulted in a passion for spreading awareness of current societal issues. She also enjoys surfing, skiing, travelling, music, and interacting with people from different backgrounds.

Rebecca completed her undergraduate degree in English at the University of Nottingham, before subsequently achieving a Distinction in her Psychology Master’s degree at the University of Leicester.

She is passionate about exploring issues facing the disabled community; for example, identity formation and psychological interventions for neurodivergent students. She joins Progreso Consulting following a role as a Disability Officer for a leading global education provider and pioneer of online learning, Kaplan, Inc.

Rebecca has also previously gained experience proofreading psychological Expert Witness reports for legal proceedings.

Outside of work, Rebecca loves keeping active and spending time outdoors. In particular, she enjoys hiking, open water swimming and bouldering.

Raman Kundi is a recent Psychology Master’s graduate from the University of Reading. Alongside her studies, she has been a private tutor for over five years, specialising in teaching GCSE and A-Level English and Psychology. In her spare time, she is an avid martial artist, holding a black belt in Shotokan Karate.

Aayah obtained a first-class degree in Psychology from Queen Mary University of London. She formerly worked as a teaching assistant, where she ran Speech and Language Therapy (SALT) sessions and worked closely with children on the SEN register. It was here that she piqued her interest in pursuing a career that advocated for children to receive the necessary support to optimise their learning and development. In her free time, Aayah enjoys baking and is an avid traveller.

A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, Max studied for a BSc in Mathematics at Warwick University before qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 2001.

After qualifying, he moved into the industry where he spent over ten years as Finance Director at a kitchen manufacturer. He then moved into the charity sector as Finance Director for an adult and children’s hospice for five years. Following this, he returned to the accountancy profession – joining AIMS Accountants.

Max deals with all day-to-day bookkeeping, payroll, and tax matters.

Outside of work, Max enjoys keeping fit and has completed various half and full marathons, along with cycling a 20-mile South Downs trek event on his 1980’s BMX.
